Lizard Lifeboat
The Lizard lifeboat station was founded in 1859 and was originally sited at Polpeor, Lizard Point. In 1959 the station moved to its present location in Kilcobben Cove and after 50 years service is currently being rebuilt to house the new Tamar class lifeboat.
